Google has released a native version of Google maps for S60 3rd edition phone. This version is quite advanced and faster than the earlier Java version of google maps. Another advantage that is less immediately apparent is the fact that it uses a lot less RAM during operations which should mean it has less of an impact on multi-taskers.
And now this new version even supports the internal GPS receiver of the phones like Nokia E90, Nokia N95 and Nokia 6110 navigator.
