How to check Originality and Quality of your Mobile Phone?
Tuesday, October 23, 2007
Lots of consumers get in to their trap and use the duplicate phones. Some do it knowingly but some do it without knowing the phone to be a duplicate one.
But now i have find out a way through which we can know whether our Mobile phone is an original one or not and whether the quality of our phone is genuine or not.
Here's what you need to do :-
- Press the following on your mobile *#06#and the-international mobile equipment identity number appears.
- Then check the 7th and 8th numbers.
- For example my Nokia N95's IMEI no is 354767012230810.
- IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 02 or 20 this means your cell phone was assembled in Emirates which is very Bad quality.
- IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 08 or 80 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Germany which is fair quality.
- IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 01 or 10 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Finland which is very Good.
- IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 00 this means your cell phone was manufactured in original factory which is the best Mobile Quality.
- IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 13 this means your cell phone was assembled in Azerbaijan which is very Bad quality and also dangerous for your health.
I checked it out and found my Nokia N95 to be manufactured in Finland which is called to be of Good quality....!! Now its your turn......!
So just pick up your phone and check whether its an original one or not!!

Samsung launched G800, a 5 mega pixel Slider phone
But now with the launch of hot, sexy, and sleek slider SGH-800, Samsung moves a foot ahead from others.
But the main thing which makes SGH-G800 move a foot ahead from its range of phones is that Samsung has loaded this phone with 5 megapixel autofocus camera having a xenon flash, digital image stabilization, red-eye reduction, face recognition capability and the most importantly 3x optical zoom.(yes, OPTICAL ZOOM)
The price for Samsung G800 is yet unknown. It will go on sale in Europe next month.

Google updates Gmail mobile
Sunday, October 21, 2007
Other improvements are that now If you click on a contact in Gmail Mobile 1.5, you'll see full details, including their photo, and if you entered the phone number in your contact's details, you can call them directly from Gmail Mobile.
Even you can save an unfinished message for sending it later. And, like the Maps Mobile application, Gmail shows the bandwidth usage every time it loads data.
To install it, visit gmail.com/app from your smartphone.

Google Docs and Spreadsheets now on your Mobile Phone
Saturday, October 20, 2007
Mr G, arr…I mean GOOGLE rolls out with yet a new service for Mobile users. Now we can access Googledocs and Spreadsheets from our Mobile web browser. The new service is available at http://docs.google.com/m
Right now we cant access Google Presentation application. The service so far provides access to Google docs and Google spreadsheets that too only document viewing (not editing).
Well according to tests right now text document viewing works the best, with documents appearing just like they would look on your computer screen but there’s a problem with Spreadsheet viewer as currently it only provides only HTML view of the spreadsheets, and only a single column at a time. It does the job, but is not that good if you want to view bigger spreadsheets.

Google Phone Wishlist
Nothing confirmed yet but to make it a bighit and more successful than Apple’s iPhone or Nokia’s multimedia computers or Motorola’s sleek and sexy models according to GIZMODO here’s some features we wish it to come out with.
Tight integration with Google Apps: • Picasa: A 2MP camera with decent color and low light performance should take a shot, and upload it directly to your Picasa web storage as a mirror. Likewise for YouTube uploads.
• Google Talk: Both IM and VoIP makes this a fancy web communicator. The carriers may not like this, but we've got a feeling Google will sell this sans carrier. Oh, and other IM client support.
• Google Video and YouTube: To at least match the iPhone, they have to have their video sites ready for mobile usage. Uploading
• Google Earth: Google Earth for 3D maps, with GPS and app integration.
• Google Docs support with full read like the ones for iPhones, Windows Mobiles and BlackBerries, but real with full editing right on the phone, and support for multiuser editing.

Try on Glasses via your cell phone using "Mobile Fitting"
Well still there might be some time left for this thing to happen but now atleast you can virtually try on glasses on your mobile phones.
A Japanese Megane Top (”Top Glasses”) superstore has started a new service to allow its customers to virtually try on glasses using their mobile phones.
